A quick note
“Print a reminder to take the library books back tomorrow.”
Give your agent a printer. Slipbridge turns ideas into grocery lists, daily plans, labels, and notes worth keeping.
“Turn this recipe into a shopping list and print it in the kitchen.”
SLIPBRIDGEYour agent finds the printer, prepares the list, and follows the print to completion.
Sign in, open Printers, and choose Add printer. The Mac app or CLI connects the computer that can reach your printer. Follow the printer guide.
Add Slipbridge using the instructions below. Sign in and approve access in your browser. Compatible clients handle token renewal automatically.
Start with “List my Slipbridge printers.” Then ask for a print. Keep the companion running and its computer awake.
Account availability: you need an account on the hosted app, or your own Slipbridge installation. Hosted accounts are invite-only for now.
Paste this into an agent that can read links and configure MCP. It will still need you to complete browser authorization.
Help me set up Slipbridge so you can print for me. Follow the instructions at https://app.slipbridge.com/mcp/setup.md
Slipbridge is a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server. Use this endpoint with OAuth:
https://app.slipbridge.com/mcp
For a self-hosted workspace, use the URL on its Agents page.
Run these commands, then complete browser authorization:
codex mcp add slipbridge --url 'https://app.slipbridge.com/mcp'
codex mcp login slipbridge --scopes jobs:create,jobs:read,printers:read,streams:read,streams:invoke,streams:manage,devices:manage,ai:generate,library:submit,offline_access
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user slipbridge 'https://app.slipbridge.com/mcp'Open /mcp in Claude Code, select Slipbridge, and authenticate in the browser. Claude Code MCP documentation
Paste the setup message above into Cursor and let your agent follow the instructions. You can also add the server URL in Cursor's MCP settings, then connect with OAuth. Cursor MCP documentation
Run MCP: Add Server in the Command Palette. Choose HTTP, paste the endpoint, name it slipbridge, and choose where to save the configuration. Start the server and complete authorization. VS Code MCP documentation
Add the endpoint as a remote MCP server and use the client's Connect or OAuth flow. A portable JSON configuration is available for compatible clients. Merge its server entry into your existing configuration; different clients use different formats.
“Print a reminder to take the library books back tomorrow.”
“Find my daily note template and preview it with these three priorities.”
“Has that shopping list printed yet?”
Your agent can preview a template's text without sending anything to the printer. When you ask for a print, it appears in your workspace's Prints.
Slipbridge supports OAuth discovery, automatic client registration, and PKCE. You do not need to create an OAuth app or copy a client secret. Existing browser sessions are reused during setup.
Clients that request offline_access and support refresh tokens renew their access in the background. Access tokens last one hour. Refresh tokens last 90 days and rotate when used. A client that loses its credentials, lets them expire, or has its access revoked needs to reconnect.
Review and disconnect clients on Agents. Revocation stops both MCP access and refresh.
On the Agents page, under Other ways in, create an access key used by an agent. Choose the permissions you need, then save it in your client's secret settings as a Bearer token. Keep it out of chat and shared configuration. HTTP API and device tokens cannot authenticate to MCP.

Try asking: “Find a lovely to-do list template, or design one for me. Add some botanical artwork and show me a preview.” Your agent can find ideas, build a new design, revise its blocks and fields, and save it for editing in the dashboard. Previewing and designing never print automatically.
Agents can also put a template on a schedule: “Print my Morning Brief every weekday at 7.” A schedule keeps printing on its own, so your agent should confirm the time, days, time zone, and fields with you first. You can pause or change it from the template page or your agent.
Webhook secrets never pass through the conversation. When your agent adds a webhook, or you need a new secret, it links you to the template in your workspace. Choose New secret there and copy it once. A secret in chat history could keep printing even after you disconnect the agent.
The starter daily allowances are 20 credits for free accounts and 200 for paid allowances. They reset at midnight UTC. AI must be enabled by your installation administrator. New editing, sharing, and AI permissions require explicit consent when reconnecting an older connection. Hosted accounts are invite-only, and paid checkout is not available yet.
“Streams” are saved templates in the protocol. Printing tools require an idempotency key so a retried request does not produce another print, including after credential renewal. The server also supplies workflow instructions and a printing guide resource.
